I wanted a bigger couch anyway

 It seems that Alex is allowed on the couch now.


 Smooch doesn't seem to mind, although I do.


There's barely enough room left for me.

    Oh that did make me laugh! I am all too familiar with the feeling that the dogs are running the household, not me. But yours are such sweet and loving tyrants (mine too). /Gretchen

    Love it when doggies are allowed on the couch. We had two very big dogs, so we got a sectional, so we all could fit!
