I love how, when you order Alex to sit, she pointedly turns around and gives a look at Smooch, saying: ''SHE's not sitting!''. Animals know fair is fair!! lol!
Aww he was so cute ( or she) I would have tried to get her in the bucket and moved out of the fenced area? I believe it’s doomed between Patty and JCC... Just a thought. They are so pretty. Ethel
I recall another video a while back of the chickens sending another tarantula off to see its Maker. I was shocked … I had NO idea chickens murdered and ATE tarantulas … When you sicced the hen loose on this one, I figured it was a goner for sure! At least the fuzzy critter had sense enough to hide until the coast was clear! Or did the hen get it? Or did the entire coop share in the fuzzy tidbit? OMG Gag!! The video was definitely good for a few LOL moments!
Wrangling spiders....way more fun than herding cats, dogs and donkeys. It’s right up there with the snakes. What a great video to start our apparently very mundane morning. Thank you for keeping us in the ranch life loop.
I keep a mason jar with its flat lid especially for catch-and-release opportunities like this. Or a large yogurt container. Good on you for trying to help! You are a brave rancher!
I love these spiders. My best girlfriend had these in her bedroom in their own special tank and its really cool when they molt. I am just glad this was not a rattlesnake video.
oh she is so fluffy and sweet! me too when I encounter a spider, I put a jar on top of her, gently slide apiece of cardboard under and resettle the beast far and aside

ReplyDeleteI hope that is the literal end of your tarantella dance!

ReplyDeleteUgh, that was hard to watch! You are a brave woman!
ReplyDeleteROFL!!
ReplyDeleteLol. You need a special tarantula pole, like the snake pole, and then drive it miles away.

ReplyDeleteThat was one calm, completely non aggressive tarantula, true to type. I do hope it escaped and has set up shop out of the was somewhere.
ReplyDeleteOh, HELL no!! I'd have hightailed it in the *other* direction! (I HATE spiders .. they give me the heebeejeebies!)
