Happy for Smooch, that she has an 'island' of refuge from puppy antics. I'm sure Alex will learn soon enough, how to make the leap, but for now, Smooch reigns supreme as the queen of the castle.
She’ll learn how soon enough how to get up on the bed. Smooch is enjoying her space, right now. Alex is so funny. Your bed and the rug look gorgeous, very cozy! Ethel
Smooch is such a good girl! I really can't get over her acceptance of Alex. Mostly because old dogs don't usually take so kindly to puppy behaviors of any sort. But then again, Smooch is an exceptional girl!
That is the gorgeous rug you bought at auction, right? And seems like a new bed. You promised us a house tour to show us all the updates. Not that the puppy isn't highly entertaining... /Gretchen
Yes and yes. And thanks for reminding me about the house tour. I'll wait 'til the new fridge arrives on Wednesday and the dining room is free of coolers and the mini-fridge.
You could surely milk it for a room a day and then maybe a video walk-through to wrap as a final installment. And then Alan and George think they should be getting more blog-time too. :-) /Gretchen
Hahaha, that jump at you at the end, so cute! She certainly is a happy pup. Love how she goes off and brings her own toy to Smooch’s party. :-) I love how you’ve moved your bed - your room looks wonderful! I can’t wait to hear how Alex reacts tomorrow...!!!
So much fun! Can't believe she hasn't made it on the bed yet, after all she does seem to have springs in her legs, lol. BTW, I am sooo envious of your floors, love them!
How cute! Alex hasn't figured out how to jump up there yet! Good for Smoochie-poo! Please give her an extra hug and kiss from me for being so smart! Hee hee! Can't wait to see the new fridge either!
There's just nothing like the joyfulness of a puppy! Smooch is being such a good girl to tolerate all of Alex's antics. Do you find that Smooch has been invigorated by having a youngster in the house?
I'm curious. Why does Alex have a collar but Smooch doesn't?
ReplyDeleteSo that she's easier to grab hold of when my calm, assertive energy approach to discipline fails.
DeleteAlex: "I'll show her, I can get my own toy!"

ReplyDeleteI like your new bed and it's orientation... very nice
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long before Alex solves the Big Mystery. Look out then! Rebecca2
