Smooch is imparting the Zen aspect of being Ranch Security. It's an important part of the job. If that reason fails, just know that they're too cute to fire.
A good security guard is very observant. Sitting still, listening and watching is most important. Alex is learning from the best, but she may need more pratice on the listening part ; )
