I'm glad Smooch isn't letting Alex get "too big for her britches". Alex is going to keep pushing those boundaries and Smooch will, in her own loving way, put her in her place. Thanks for the laugh! ~ Linda
Not that I am trying to promote Orvis, but my dogs love those big, round couch-style Orvis beds. Bess has two of them; one on the front porch for summertime surveillance, and another in the mudroom for wintertime comfort. She prefers them to the living room people couch!
Smooch's Orvis bed is as old as she is, and I recently replaced the cushion with memory foam from a mattress I cut up. She loves it more than ever now, as does Alex.
LOL! thank you for this good laugh with your internal affairs! I love my bed too, in fact I'm even in love with my bed!! sometimes my cat too and he leaves me then one third of the bed in which I pile my 6Feet2!
Hilarious faces! Smooch has her priorities exactly in order -- and she's making sure Alex has the same priorities, haha. When I had a big bed for one of my dogs at night, in the morning I usually found the poor dog asleep on the floor -- and the cat curled up on a tiny area in the center that whole empty cushion. Talk about who's boss!
Glad to see that Alex is learning she is second in command! Nice to hear that Smoochie-poo has a memory foam mattress in her bed! She has a better bed than I do! ha ha! (I sleep on a sofa bed, which I need to get rid of soon!)
