One more day

The next time you see this puppy, she'll probably be sitting on dirt or my lap.
She is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, late morning,
and life as Smooch and I know it will change completely.
We're as ready as we can be, which is to say
the camera batteries are charged.

  6. Ohmygoodness, that face just slays me. Such a precious little fur ball. It looks like she’s anxiously counting down the days until she can be with you, too!!

  7. Excited and worried at the same time. Our boy almost killed our girl when we brought her home as a puppy. They needed 100% supervision for some time otherwise he would try to grab her and shake her like a ragdoll. I kept telling him he was going to make her in to one tough girl that would grow up and whip him...and she did. As soon as she was big enough she put him in his place and became alpha dog. And they were two 15 pound Pom-a-poos. Years before we had a super agressive Chow and when we bought home a girl puppy Chow he loved her from the first minute more than life itself. So you never know....keep a close watch. Lisa G. In TN

  9. Don't think my comment made it so I'll try again. I'm as excited as everybody else! Maybe Smooch will teach her how to dig along with her? *lol*

  10. I am so excited for you. You probably hate all this "free advice" from us posters, but remember to supervise (closely) the interaction with Smootch at first until they get the pecking order sorted out. Smootch will let her know who is boss - hopefully with more noise than bite! I've done this many times over the years with dogs and it is just something they have to go through. Don't panic when it happens.....and enjoy that new pup!
