Stunning, Linda! Well done. The problem with your guest room now, is that your guest(s) are not ever going to want to leave!!! You have a created a lovely space. Can't believe you have done all that window finishing with broken ribs! Wow. I love the way Smooch is laying back admiring your handiwork...as if it was all done for her. (well, at least partially) :) Have a wonderful trip.
Beautiful! You made great decisions - the shades and window casing/framing are superb! I also like the new arrangement of pictures - the way you grouped the 4 pictures and hung the 2 vertical ones on the adjacent wall looks very professional.
Wowee, wow, wow. You done gooder. You are so right about Roman shades being a mathematical effort. I used to make draperies and shades for a living and your measuring 16 times and cutting once applies to the fabric as well. This room is so inviting and polished looking. Good for you.
As ever you are my DIY hero! Absolutely gorgeous. Can I come visit you and your tribe soon, too? Glad you are feeling better (read today's post before this one) and you can fully enjoy your sneezes. :) Oh, yeah. Nice touch with the bone garden out the window.

ReplyDeleteReally like how they turned out. Looks terrific and I love the conchos at the top of the window frame. Clever use of the extras. What’s next?
