HA HA HA SHE ISNEARLY DISAPPEARING INTO IT! wonder if she is not planning to go join the donkies running straight to the back 40!!!! oh, and by the way, tonight, don't forget the carrots in your shoes next to the fire, so that Saint Nicholas can visit you and your critters!
I can't find if there will there be a 2018 calendar. My 85 year old mom with Alzheimer's, who looks at her calendar every day and thinks a new photo : ), is inquiring. (So, am I.)
I wonder how much sand/soil she's brought into the house over the years. I do hope, before you (eventually) move somewhere to retire, that she catches whatever it is that she's digging for. My neighbor's dog dug up their backyard every spring and they finally figured out what the digging was about---cicadas digging/emerging from the soil. The dog could hear them and was hell bent to dig up every single one. I guess they're tasty. He ate a lot of them.
Your title made me smile. And I hope it means you're not just waiting, but anticipating something or someone. (I have my own secret wish about that.)
ReplyDeleteSmooch is so unassuming that she doesn’t even realize she IS something exciting!❤️
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are back, Linda! I missed you and your crew :-)
ReplyDeleteI see the road to China will be open soon. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought my two German Shepherds were diggers; Smooch is QUEEN! Rebecca
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see Smooch! :) Is she still working on the same trench or does she have several around the fence?
ReplyDeleteSmooch is smarter than the rest of us most days.
ReplyDeleteVery glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteSmooch is going to need a PETicure as a Christmas present. That girl sure can dig.
ReplyDeleteLove that Smooch!
ReplyDeleteSmooch knows it’s a scientific fact that digging a trench not only makes dirt fly, but time as well. And maybe she’ll dig up something exciting!

I couldn't bring myself to look through all my photos to find 12 for 2018. My sincere apologies to you both.
DeleteNot a problem. Take care of yourself. That is what is important.
