Smooch: Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's the end of April, right?
Smooch: This is wrong on so many levels.
Smooch: I could just scream.
Alan: We're doomed.
Alan: What do you mean you can't make it stop?
George: Will you feed us hay today?
We won't be able to find the grass!
Lucy: Did someone mention hay?
By noon Saturday, 4.5 inches had fallen. By 4:00, it was almost all gone.
But then it started again – another 2.5 inches, making it our biggest storm since
December 2015 and an excuse to post snow pictures all week long.
December 2015 and an excuse to post snow pictures all week long.
Omg...No way! Geez, at least it doesn't last long and it very pretty. You have their thoughts down for sure!
ReplyDelete(I thought I saw pink on the radar but was hoping it missed you)
Wow! It was a crazy weather weekend. We hit 91 in Nashville...that is not normal for spring in the south. But snow...and that much snow.. seems really late. Hope it is all gone quickly. Makes for beautiful pictures! Lisa G in TN
ReplyDeleteWOW. That's some crazy weather. Hopefully it won't be trending.
ReplyDeleteThe best kind of snow. Fluffy and pretty and then gone in a hurry!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! Hope you do post snow pics all week. Our week's forecast calls for 97 degrees by weeks end. (Scream)
ReplyDeletePretty. But NO THANKK YOU!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures and yes, my equines were asking me to make it stop up here! They were clearly unhappy!
ReplyDeleteOMG! your babies look sooo cute, all of them, their little wet hair between their big ears! love it. mind you, we had the same surprise here in France (Rennes), it snowed during the day then drop to zero degree at night (freezing point) now we have rain and thunder today!
ReplyDeleteWowza! In the mid to high 80's here in SE Texas. If the humidity would change into snow, we'd probably have about 3 feet! KarenTX
ReplyDeleteOMW and we are in drought really bad here in FL... do a little unsnow dance and send some cool air and rain down here, the snow would melt and make rain for us.
ReplyDeleteThe herd voiced my thoughts on Saturday as well. Brrrrr cold and wet. Look forward to more pics
ReplyDeleteWow. Were you able to get to your mailbox? Did you tell the herd that the snow will make the pasture so much better? Of course, then they'll face those grazing muzzles, so they can't win. We've had over 7 inches of rain the last few days and I commented to Dave that we're lucky it wasn't snow. But, at least our roads are paved. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteDidn't even try to get out. Grazing muzzles went on this morning (earliest ever) and they're hating me right now. Can't even imagine 7 inches of rain in a few days - that's usually all we get in a year!
DeleteWow .. I'll take your snow in a NY minute over the crazy weather we've had. I can echo Peg's lament; Raleigh (NC) and the immediate area saw nearly 8 inches of rain in a 1-1/2 day timeframe last weekend, enough to cause major flooding and close area schools for a few days. Adding insult to injury, the temps soared; we're enduring highs in the 80s-low 90s w/ soaring dew points. UGH! Tell the herd to hang in there. How do your chickens handle the snow, or do you keep them in their coop? Maggy
ReplyDeleteWow - the humidity there must be unbearable.
DeleteMy chickens are the first to run out and play in the snow. The early birds get the rodents.
OMG! I heard your same noise today and look: I am not lying, this is where I live in France:http://www.ouest-france.fr/bretagne/rennes-35000/rennes-video-une-mini-tornade-traverse-la-ville-4963070
ReplyDeleteA tornado in France? Who knew?!
DeleteOmigosh!! Crazy!!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, we had hailstorms and thunder and lightening like I've never seen before.
Maybe Mother Earth is trying to tell us something...
this is crazy! your furbabies don't understand why mommy can't fix it. lol love each pic of your babies. they are beautiful!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Marie
