My first German Shepherd used to do the same thing. If she decided something was foolish/dangerous she would put up a fuss. By the way, where are Alan's ears?
And we could ask the same questions that he is: What on earth are you doing up there, Mom? Why are you risking, if not life, then limb?? But we have one advantage that he didn't. You posted the picture, so we know that you returned to earth safely -- and got a picture for the blog, too! Stay safe, please!
Hahahahahahaha!! I can totally hear your voice, talking to him the entire time about what you're doing and telling him not to look at you that. :-) It's not one of the doors, is it?
Oops. Sorry about the question. It was probably a bit more conversational on my part than a blog comment allows. lol Crazy woman, though! Anything for the perfect shot! :-)
It took me a while to learn that donkey's lay their ears flat back for more than one reason. It's not always aggression/terror. I think it means intention, somehow.
As well he should!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, if he could talk...
ReplyDeleteRight there with him!

Took awhile to figure out that door question. No, the doors are working fine. I was just standing up there to get a better shot.

ReplyDeleteThat's so cute, I would stay up there all the time.
ReplyDeleteIf you're like me, you don't bounce so good anymore. Be careful!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! "Mom! I don't think you should be up there..."
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute, worrying about you! =)
