Tuesday morning...

Tuesday morning...
Tuesday afternoon!
After many delays and weather cancellations, the new kitchen appliances
arrived yesterday. The delivery guys installed the refrigerator and range,
I installed the microwave – with Photoshop. The real thing is actually sitting in the dining room.
Yet again, I'm too frugal to pay a professional to do the installation
and will attempt it myself this weekend. Please say a little prayer.
and will attempt it myself this weekend. Please say a little prayer.
Next up...new countertops, sink and faucet.
Of course you can do it. The question is, what are you going to stack under it to hold it up?
ReplyDeleteWow, what a difference ... beautiful! You know you can do the microwave. Heavens, you tackled far worse jobs and come through with flying colors.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Aunt Jean
ReplyDeleteNice. Good luck on the microwave.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! When you update, you don't mess around. Speaking of "cows" where did she go?
ReplyDeleteShe's back in her rightful place now, grazing atop the new refrigerator.
DeleteHa! My first thought was ... "Huh, didn't realize you could learn how to install a microwave with Photoshop ..." That thought popped in there because I've learned that YOU can figure anything out via YouTube... somehow made sense that Photoshop had a 'How To Guide' now. Sure looks mighty fine! Although Smooch looks a little intimidated by the mighty steel fridge!
ReplyDeleteNow I have to worry all weekend about how you will keep the new microwave in the air while securing it to the cabinet. I doubly worry because i think I need to replace mine. Please be careful (which I know you will, but still.......)
ReplyDeleteYou mustn't worry. I will find something to hold it in place...even it's the floor jack I use to change tires.
DeleteImpressive! Love the new stainless steel look!
ReplyDeleteMaggy
Wow, is that an automatic milk dispenser on the white fridge? Johnny Cash Cat probably is a little miffed about that disappearing.
ReplyDeleteGood job! Make sure you put on your aluminum hat when dealing with the microwave. :-}
ReplyDeleteAre you doing this to spruce up the joint because of the move you mentioned a few months back? Just curious. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe move is still almost five years off but since the kitchen will need updating before I put it on the market, I figured I'd do it now so I could enjoy the improvements.
DeleteWoot Woot! that's a presto cambio indeed! these new appliances match Smooch's bowls!
DeleteI got all new appliance in the fall and got that new color called slate and really like it but not happy with the appliances. The frig is so noisy, more so then my 20 year old I gave away. I really don't cook much for just me so the kitchen looks very pretty and I do dust the stove top from time to time. I think you great taste so whatever you do will be great.
ReplyDeleteWow, your place is going through a major overhaul! I hope you get to enjoy it all fully! =D
ReplyDeleteI know you are good at installing, just make sure you have enough protection on your new stove top! It looks so good! Love it
