You & Johnny cheered me up after a depressing night & morning. Wonderful how cats always manage to be comfy no matter what the challenge! Those photos make me want to hug him but I'm sure that would be much too corny for him. Beautifully done video.
This formatt of stills and video must be very time consuming. It sure is great, tho. Love that Johnny Cash Cat. Did you build that shelf especially for him?
You know you spoil us with the double shoot experience. Johnny matches the palate of the ranch so well, and the NM light. Love that he checked for ground level hazards (i.e. chickens) before hopping down. Thank you,
What a ham Johnny is. He loves the attention of the camera!
Thank you so much for doing this again with the video and the still shots. So very interesting. I was thinking you should set up an online class on how to get great shots of your animals with the technique you are showing here. People like me and other would love it. Your second career. And later, a week end at your place in person learning this fabulous skill. Thanks again!
Gahhh, the sun...so nice! I love the part where the focus is on JCC, but George and Alan are in the back pasture and are perfectly framed through the barn door. I kept getting glimpses of...gloves?...mittens?...on your hands - or am I seeing things?
The sun, ah yes if I had a shelf in the sun I would be laying on it, too. You can feel the warm sun on Johnny's fur and he keeps himself so clean for an outside cat. He is better than an ole elf any day!
OUr beautiful model cat, he can take the pose and change it just on time for next shot, a real pro! and such sweet eyes and ho so clever, he did not jump down in the donkey side! love all of it, thank you Linda
Love that the last sounds I hear are the hoof beats as Alan comes into the barn! ;) I sure do admire your barn by the way. Noticed your skeleton art just to the right of JCC while you were shooting.
JCC loves his shelf! I hope you are doing well. A little worried that you haven't posted anything in about a week. I just hope it's that you are busy and nothing big!
Johnny sure has exceeded all expectations from that sad day that those people at the shelter labeled him "unadoptable." He is a sweet, happy guy, and the worlds best barn cat! Love these pictures and the video too!
Johnny needs a contract as a model. super shots

It's most definitely mitten weather...had our first snow last night.
DeleteSnowwwwww!!!! Looking forward to those pics! (Meanwhile, ark-building has resumed here in the PNW...)
