She went and did it - and it does look *great*! I went back to the "before" picture and have to say, good thing you didn't leave well enough alone. Moving George's black and white derrière and the black bull to the other wall creates the perfect balance, I think. Excellent.
I think i like it. I'm pretty sure I do. I'm going to need to look at it a little longer. But I really think I like it. What about you? How do you feel about it?
I hesitate to say this but, hey, it's the internet...the top 2 outside small pics..would they look better lined up with the outer edge of the lower pics? I love the contrast and your style.
I love dark walls. If it were mine I'd want to paint the other side of the fireplace as well. Have to figure out a trim piece above the door to stop the paint at though.
Like the wall. It brings out the colors in the picture (or vice versa - GRIN).
ReplyDeleteFabulous.
ReplyDeleteVery ice, just enough contrast.
ReplyDeleteThat is really sharp.
ReplyDeleteWell, I love the look of it now....
ReplyDeleteLooks great, everything around it just pops!
ReplyDeletePerfect
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Makes everything stand out.

ReplyDeleteLove it!! The colors just come to life! That's one thing Carson, you don't waste any time when you want to do a project...I really admire that.

ReplyDeleteYour wall looks stunning! Aunt Jean
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat wall but worse day of my life.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Really sets everything off beautifully -- and great inspiration to carry the turquoise across with the skull.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wall I can get behind. I wasn't against it but I didn't vote for it.
ReplyDeleteThe same cannot be said for other walls and other votes.
That looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!! Now...I wonder... *turns and looks at her own tv wall*
ReplyDeleteme too!
DeleteYour black wall is lovely! Stunning! Painting is not my forte. I would rather have a root canal. Happy Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic...Now I have to do something with my outdated
ReplyDeletecolor scheme in the kitchen...Hmm...
Love from NC
It looks great. I have to say - the paint is bouncing light way more than I pictured. Did you use an eggshell or semi-gloss?
ReplyDeleteI used a flat finish.
DeleteThat looks even better than the example you showed - your turquoise skull jumps right off the wall visually too.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! AND THE PERFECT DAY FOR A BLACK WALL! what we woud call in French "un mur de cirsconstance"! (and I like your painting outfit)
ReplyDeleteWOWZERS!
ReplyDeleteYes! Lovely! You. And The Wall!
ReplyDeleteperfect! i love it. looks great with the colors in the pics!
