So peaceful. And those underbelly shots are unique. What you won't do for a good photo. Johnny's tail tells what he thinks about this venture into the pasture.
I loved it last year, this year, and will next year! Surprise on Thursday...okay, I'm hooked. Why do cats ALWAYS hustle right in front of us & then slow waaaayyy down?
I just love soft burro noses and their warm breath. I was cracking up when you ran after them and they high-tailed it out of there! The golden light was so beautiful with that sky!
"No stampede!!" - "OK, Mom." (x 3) - And then Rancher Woman goes and *causes* a mini-stampede. Humans!;-) Oh, I've found that videos from my Place of Dreams get me to multitask: Swoon + sigh + smile from ear to ear + get water in my eyes, all at the same time!! Better than Netflix! P.S. Thursday!! There *was* a Steve-sighting not too long ago, and I hope that counts. :-)
It brightens my day and makes me smile to watch your happy, healthy, beloved animals and to hear your voice. And Thursday? A surprise on Thursday? Oh boy!!
I keep forgetting how much land you have. Do they come back to the barn every morning? I'm itching to find out what the surprise will be on Thursday...a new herd member, perhaps? :)
You told them "no stampede", then you start one!! lol
All the colors are so beautiful! And I love the shot where you put yourself in the middle and did 360 degrees with the camera! Sooooooo wonderful to see all that land and not a house or building in sight!

ReplyDeleteWhat a way to start the day! I smiled the whole 4:56 of the video.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Mick
Big surprise on Thursday? You can tell us, we can keep a secret.
ReplyDeleteWho was more excited about accessing the pasture again? You or the donkeys? The golden light is beautiful!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and a very sweet herd. They look as happy as you do. Wonder what the surprise is?
