Today's music is "Eight-Paw Waltz" from Tim Neumark.
(Be on the lookout for shapeshifter Hank at 1:35.)

  1. Lovely music, perfect for early morning before the rat race starts. Beautiful photography. Best four-footed souls and mutual back-scratching, what more can you ask?

    1. Hank turns into a raven and flies along the left edge of the screen, then George's ears perk up when he catches the raven out of the corner of his eye.

    3. that is a special soul to soul communication, so intimate that only you can see and feel. I understand this because a few days after my previous cat died, I saw her in a cloud in the sky and burst into tears but I was the only able to see it

Ah! I saw the raven but I didn't connect it to Hank. Did he have a special relationship with ravens?

    5. No, but this raven has been hanging out at the barn with us all summer and we like to think it's Hank.

    1. Those are feral sunflowers, as far as I know. They smell bad but they're pretty!
