The eyes have it

When Justina visited in April, she proclaimed George's eyes the most beautiful

she's ever seen on a donkey. I had to agree. We both promised 

not to share this opinion with any of the other donkeys we know.

There's something unique about their soft brown color...

...and the way they reflect the light.

Add a slight tilt of the head and I melt.

Then, when the nostrils open as wide as the eyes, it's a wonder 

I can take a picture, so overwhelmed am I by the cuteness.

George's eyes convey his thoughts,

so it's usually pretty easy to understand what he's saying,

(and to write captions for his pictures).

"I know you're hiding in the box. The question is, why?"
