What a great mom to the loving, purring, "feral beast"! Experienced the crooked head/neck myself. Long ago barn kitten would ride in my sweatshirt hood while I cleaned stalls, didn't fit when grown so rode on my shoulders, brought back some memories.
Aww he has a killer purr. Considering he still has his 'feral beast' moments, I'd be feeling a bit nervous if he was up there on my shoulders, but he does love his mama! :)
"Oh Linda, I love you so. Also, I own you."
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy he is! Great purr!
ReplyDeleteSome 'feral' beast!
ReplyDeleteHe is so ferocious...purring like a kitty, so content.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful morning, I can smell the fresh air!
I was totally smelling the air, too, Ethel!! :-)
DeleteDon't let Lucy see that. She will get ideas in her head and before you know it, you're giving rides to the whole heard.
ReplyDeleteLove the purring. Cat love.

Feral my *ss! I wonder what the barn cat rescue people would think of Johnny now
ReplyDeleteI LOVE you Mom...Protect me from those scary chickens!!! How cute can you get?
ReplyDeleteAh, the drolly purr. Our orange cat does the same thing, and also allegedly was feral before we adopted him. Love the video and sounds of the ranch.
ReplyDeleteI think cats sometimes believe they are still tiny kittens who can sit on your shoulders. LOVE the sounds of the chickens and his purr.

Good thing you took in that wild beastie to look after the rodents in the hay room and the pig roost! ;)
ReplyDeleteHe really is a feral cat. Really. (love the purr)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love that cat. The purring part was the best, I could almost feel it like he was sitting on *my* back!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Pretty earrings, Carson.
sweet sweet Johnny, caressing your cheeks, purring of joy: your back is a nice place to be
ReplyDelete"Mom! Save me from the raptor chickens!...Oh, and here's a massage while I'm up here...love you!!"
ReplyDeleteAwww, JCC is sooooo cute!!
