Sadly, the video of a similar play session involving three adults in the pasture, at night,
with bubble wands and glow-in-the-dark balloons (because we're 12) didn't turn out.
So thank you, Danni, for never traveling light and stuffing your suitcase with toys.
Precious Lucy Unfazed. What a dear soul she is - as long as she can be close to you, she'll put up with anything, it seems. At the end of the video I heard your voice say, "You're such a good girl" :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about the other video, though, I sure would have loved to also watch those three 12-year-olds play!
(Meant to say, heard in my mind, of course.)
DeleteI love how Lucy is all about those bubbles, and the boys want nothing to do with them! So funny.
ReplyDeleteYes.... Too bad that night time party in the pasture video did not turn out! But this one brought some morning smiles!!
ReplyDeleteThey are looking at the Lego head lady like .... What in the H--- is she doing!? My dogs catch and eat Bubbles. Lucy was the bravest and those goobers run... Love it!
ReplyDelete( I bet the other video was hilarious, I can only imagine)
Ha! "Lego-head lady"...I thought and thought about this comment and then I saw Carson's shadow in the corral and it all became clear. :-)
DeleteOh my, laughter-tears in the morning are wonderful!! Is there *anything* Lucy isn't game for? And at least the boys are consistent...I recall them having this same reaction when we met them in the dark with our bubbles and balloons. lol
ReplyDeleteI wish I could attach pics to comments because I have a couple of really funny shots and a crazy-ass video where you almost ran into a tree because the balloons were so distracting. :-) :-) :-)
Post the pics on your blog, Danni!
DeleteAll I can say is, your animals certainly are patient. I'm sure they realized that when you finish "playing that you will have some playtime with them. Alan didn't seem impressed at all. So funny. Would love to have seen you "kids" playing.
ReplyDeleteSeems like Lucy is game for anything you do, the boys not so much :)
ReplyDeleteGod Bless friends who help us entertain our 'inner children'.
ReplyDeleteLucy: I'll just humor her...
ReplyDeleteAlan and George: Noooooo way! We are out of here!
Ha ha ha!! I really wish I could have seen the night version!!
Lucy is such a sport and if it has to do with mom, it must be good...no reason to know why, just enjoy that mom is so clever that she can make the air spit tiny balloons! AND, she's found a sure fire way to get Alan and George to run away....SCORE!!!
ReplyDeleteHA! You've given me a brilliant idea for loading them into the trailer next time!
DeleteGood for Lucy ...she'll play........
