We ran into Big O at the beginning of our road trip...
...to San Lorenzo Canyon, where we climbed rocks and worked up an appetite...
...so then we climbed down and drove to San Antonio (New Mexico)...
...where we ate green chile cheeseburgers...
...and bought homemade fudge at the gas station...
...then returned home just in time for happy hour on the porch.
Tall Paul had enough energy left to bake a pie...
...while Danni taught Smooch how to text.
Looks like you all are having SO much fun! 😃
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day! Yum on the fudge :-)

ReplyDeleteGreat friends. Neat day.
ReplyDeleteHa! I'll be Danni is showing Smooch a video of a squirrel family running up a tree!! or a coyote howling or Carson making smooching noises.
ReplyDeleteSmooch is going to have her own facebook page any day now that Danni has educated her. Had to google San Antonio, NM. I've spent the night in Las Vegas, NM, before. Hope we get to see Paul's pie. Lucky girls!
ReplyDeleteI am the traveling pie man, I suppose. :-)
DeleteLooks like fun. Smooch is in heaven.
ReplyDeleteOh Danni, you might regret doing that. I remembehair un beeeg blacgh gato, Don Estorbo de la Bodega Dominicana (tearing up hell over the rainbow bridge right now)who had hees own blorg. May he rest in peas. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PVsgqPyZ-W8/Sj7pezQKJFI/AAAAAAAAPJQ/5EqRw5QS2-o/S220/Cat+on+roof.jpg
ReplyDeleteI lobed that cat from afar...so did my two beautiful kitties who he ees chasing now in heaven. He had a mouf that needed washing out wif soap many, many times. And he tol many fambly seeckrets on the blorg.
Just theenk what kind of stories Smooch could tell...true or not(?)...about those animals and peoples at the 7MSN! *gasp*

Aw, I remember Don Estorbo!
DeleteP.S. "Storbie" went to heaven on the same day my Tiger horse did. I can imagine what kind of trouble they are getting into! ~Auntie Em~
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, sunny, fun day. That hike was super cool!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I need to blog again, though, just so we can prove that you were a participant in the day's events too! lol

I've had to settle for green chile Cheeseburgers at The Owl - Never seemed to find The Buckhorn Tavern across the street open. We keep trying to get a GCCB at TheBuckhorn since it was awarded the Best Green Chile Cheeseburger in Bobby Flay's Throwdown in 2009 http://www.buckhornburgers.com/ I think I would like Happy Hour at the 7MSN the best!
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious that Smooch loves her other people. She looks very excited and engaged.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun. Danni, please blog again!
ReplyDeleteWorking on it, kippy 😊
DeleteI want that cheeseburger. Looks like you're all having a great time.
ReplyDeleteI love green chiles. I don't have a long or hot enough season to grow them, so I have to buy.
ReplyDeleteWhy are dollar bills stuck to the wall? Glad you all had a good time. And yes, Danni, you do need to blog again, please?!
ReplyDeleteOh yum!! All your food pics are making me hungry!! =D
