Oh Alan, I melted when he picked up the shovel! Sweet boy. JCC looks well fixed in his comfy condo where he doesn't have to deal with a (ick!) dog. I'm impressed by all the work you do, and you surely showed only a fraction of the real thing. Happy New Year! -- Laurie W.
A ranch woman's wok is never done. Be glad you don't have cows. Do you have any closeby neighbors if you have a problem even Linda Carson canot handle?
I don't know but a fraction of the facts, but it seems to me that one certain close-by neighbor may have a serious case of The Schizo, so... thank goodness that Rancher Woman is also Super Woman! Although her good-hearted/-engined Ranger needs a cute little snowplow...
I was going to suggest that you drive the ranger around to make tracks for Hank to walk in but then I reread the part that said you had 15" of snow and nixed that idea. Who knew you would need a 4x4 ranger with a snowplow in front in New Mexico! Keep warm and carry on - hopefully the snow will be gone soon!
Oh man...that's a lot of snow! I can only imagine what's in the road...but I am sure the main road should be good cause your neighbors have to get to work, right? Hopefully....cause I am sure you need more wine by now! Ethel
Great tour this morning. That snow sure did work its way into every nook and cranny. The critters look pretty comfy in your barn though... even though Hank seems to like hanging out in the blizzard! Maybe he's having male hot flashes?
Fantastic video! When you were saying "When's it going to stop?", I thought "When's it going to start?" Hopefully I get some snow to photograph in soon.
I loved, loved, loved this video! Thank you for sharing. That brilliant blue New Mexico sky is a beautiful backdrop to the lush white snow. I hope you receive some snow relief for a while. Snow and wet poop=poop mud. Have a wonderful New Year. And I OH SO LOVED THE MUSIC!
Ha! Another great video! I love the conversations you have with the animals and they have with you. This video made me laugh, even though that did suck that the blizzard totally made that tarp over the wood pile ineffective.
well your earth corner looks so clean and cosy: the sky is blue, the snow is white and the donkey brays. I hope you have something good to eat and drink for tomorrow.

DeleteVery clever of you to get your sunroom ready ahead of time. Almost like being able to go outside. That's a LOT of snow.

ReplyDeleteShovel poop. Shovel snow. Shovel poop. Shovel snow. My heart melted when I heard that little donkey song coming from the barn.

ReplyDeleteLoved that moment when you said "you're welcome" in answer to a donkey-snuffled "thank you." Happy New Year.
