It was too stinkin' cold to be outside taking pictures yesterday,
so I had to make do through the windows.
Oh, look! Hank finally lowered himself to drink the heated water.
He hears something in the distance. A cow? A coyote? A snowplow? One can only hope.
He gets his exercise walking back and forth on the path I shoveled between the barn
and the area outside the corral where I'm dumping all the poop.
How considerate of him to make my job easier.
Smooch wants no part of the frozen tundra
and spends her day following the sun in the guest room.
Smooch has the right idea.
ReplyDeleteSending warm wishes!
ReplyDeleteSmooch looks all snug and relaxed. Good to see her relaxed.
ReplyDeleteHank is always on the job. Sunshine makes everything sparkle. Smooch is so sweet. Glad the storm has passed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the snow up here! The storm swept all the way up from your southern neck of the woods to our Canadian 'ready and waiting' ski hills and skidoers! Hope your sun melts yours away soon.
ReplyDeleteLooking "peaceful and bright...." at the 7MSN, perfectly atune to the season.
ReplyDeleteSmooch is the smart one. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful but chilly.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Smooch has the best job. Looks like NM got our share of the snow. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteMy dog is like a sun dial. I can tell what time it is by which window he is in front of.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good boy this Hank! His mane looks frozen (but I can't really judge being so far)! Maybe Smooch needs some dog's snow boots, it must be freezing on the ground for her
ReplyDeleteI'm with Smooch!
