Love their singing & Hank's comments. Across the road from us are 2 Sicilian donkeys who break into opera in late afternoon when it's supper time. I love it! P.S. The Wall St. Journal today has an article about a guy on the Hudson who teaches a Donkey 101 course because he thinks donkeys don't get good enough PR -- seems to work!
The wailing of your long-suffering burros, ayy! (Love it, thanks for "torturing" them!!) What does one call the sounds Hank is making? (Wuffling??) Whatever, it's pretty much my favorite sound in the whole world. It tells you that Hank is looking forward to who/what is coming, that he is happy, is that about correct? (I haven't been around horses nearly enough! Let alone burros. What a wasted life...)
