  2. What a gift it was for them...like Christmas morning! It was as if they were saying "oh wow, really?! We can come out here?" Thanks Mom!"

  4. That was beautiful. Don't you worry about them when they are so far away? Do they have to come all the way back to the barn for a drink?

    1. I don't worry as much now as I used to. The farthest away they can be is a half mile, and I out there a few times a day to check in. They do have to come back to the barn for water, which they always do at least three of four times every day.

  5. I love the look on Alan's face as he is scoping out the Back 40 as you open the gate. What a great thing to have so much land to work with. An incredible gift of freedom for them. You're a good donkey mom Carson! Even if you do live in snake territory. ;)

  8. "Run, Johnny, run!" ... and Johnny runs for cover/safety tree... so cute (and funny).
"No stampede!!" - and George looked like he was really putting on the brakes; do you see that, too, or is it just my interpretation?
"Don't let him hurt his leg... Don't eat too much..." (Dress warmly. Drive carefully...) - Yeah... First, we all hear these words, and eventually we find ourselves *saying* these words... Here's a cheer to all those moms who cannot help worrying...
I love how Hank and Lucy interrupt their favorite hobby/job of grazing to say 'thank you, Mom'...
[OK, next time, I'll make an effort to simply comment: "Love this video!"]
Yet another 7MSN video that makes my heart wiiiide and happy, and then break (but in a good way!)

  9. Beautiful! Have you ever considered getting a head camera for each of them, preferably motion activated and with night vision, so we can see what they do out there in the back forty when you aren't with them? (Just joking.......but then again.....)

OOOO! What a great idea! What about putting a head cam on them once in awhile, just so we can see the world from their eyes?! THAT would be a cool video!

I love the music! It goes so perfectly with the sunrise!

Their faces when you say, "Don't do this, don't do that..." look like, "Okay, MOM! Can we go now?!?!" ha ha!!

George goes through the gate/fence and then keeps stopping like, "Is it okay Mom?...Really okay?"

Hank looks like he needs to put on a little weight before winter! Eat up, buddy! =D
