It was bright and early Sunday morning. Lucy's breakfast grazing allotment had expired
and she retired to the corral for a nap. I sat down with her to take a few pictures,
but she was agitated and immediately engaged me in a conversation.
Me: Huh? What are you trying to tell me?
Lucy: Do I have to spell it out for you in slow motion?
Me: I guess so because I'm not understanding you.
Lucy: You can be such a dumb ass sometimes.
Lucy: There's a fly buzzing around my ears.
Lucy: Go get the fly spray...
Lucy: ...before it drives me freakin' nuts!
Me: Yes, your highness.
Lucy: How long have we known each other?
I can't believe I still have to explain myself.
