I love the way you treat your buddies.
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see how well trained you all are. They must know the fly gel around the eyes helps them. Plus they trust you explicitly. Have you ever filled in the ruts in their path? I noticed a farm by us that recently did but it seemed like a lot of work. Love the videos. Lisa G. in TN
ReplyDeleteThe ruts get filled in...sort of...when the wind blows. I think the morning shadows make them look deeper than they are.
DeleteBecause he's worth it!
ReplyDeleteHi, Chesley! Hank sends his love.
DeleteYou, Hank. Lucy and 'the boys', George & Alan are quite a team. Love it! (I can only imagine what Smooch and JohnnyCCat were doing in the meantime :- )
ReplyDeleteMaggy
Any day Lucy doesn't have to wear a grazing muzzle is a great day for her. Hank is indeed worth every bit of his high maintenance. Loved this sweet start to the day. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention it...Lucy and the boys are all sporting their grazing muzzles as of an hour ago. It's going to be a long summer.
DeleteOh dear. I'm sorry. I know it doesn't help much telling yourself that it is in their very best interest. Nor does knowing that they probably don't agonize over the "injustice" half as much as you do... Anyway, I loved the video -- and your ability to treat/spoil Handsome Hank while still videotaping!!
DeleteHank was finished but STILL wanted attention. Love these videos.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how green it is there! Nothing like seeing them in line coming to the barn...the best! Hank is such a character...
ReplyDeleteAw yes, what we do for the ones we love. You are such an amazing Mom to your kids. xoxo Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteYour animals are so lucky to have you as their servant. Betsy
ReplyDeletewhose version of Summertime was that? - just fabulous, as was the video of course!
ReplyDeleteFound it on itunes - it's on the London Vocal Academy's album "Professional Piano Accompaniment for Singers Vol. 1."
DeleteLove these videos! Such lucky animals to get such good care...
ReplyDeleteJust curious, what kind of fly spray do you use? I haven't found anything that works for the flies over here so far...
ReplyDeleteI've been using Pyranah for the last few years. It lasts the 24 hours between applications.
DeleteThanks! I'll have to get me some! =)
