For the record, the feral beast has access to five water bowls/tubs/troughs in the barn.
All of the water at the ranch comes out of the same well.
The water served inside the house is the same as the water served at the barn.
Try telling that to Johnny.
Johnny: I like this bowl best. The color complements my features.
His thirst quenched, he performs his morning stretches...
...and strikes a pose to show off his impressive tail.
he is beautiful...i love his face
ReplyDeleteThat first stretch...the "downward cat," yes? He performs it beautifully. And he's absolutely correct, turquoise is his color. JCC is precious.
ReplyDeleteSo funny how they have their own fav' water bowls.
ReplyDeletehe is so purrrrrrty
ReplyDeleteJohnny's no slouch, he knows water tastes best in a Fiesta bowl!
ReplyDeleteI do love me some JCC!
ReplyDeleteSame in our house (well, maybe not five bowls, just three) - but the dog's water bowl, invariably containing grit, hair, sliminess of the dog saliva kind, regardless of how many times a day it is cleaned and refilled, remains the cats' favourite. Must taste better than their own supply, kept out of reach of the labrador face.....
ReplyDeleteI don't think you can call him "feral" anymore...ha ha! ;)
ReplyDeleteHe's a cat! It's what cats do! I love cats!
ReplyDeleteex-feral Johnny is a loooong cat with a long tail very much loved and deserving it
ReplyDeleteHe's so danged cute. One of my two feral cats got out a week ago while I was cleaning the cage. He hung around for 3 days, chasing the birds, and he caught a huge rat. He disappeared the next day and I haven't seen him since...sigh...
