Smooch and JohnnyCashCat in the house together can mean only one thing: stormy weather.
I think they both understood the impending weather doom
and generally behaved themselves,
though Johnny had the potential of turning into his own kind of storm –
something on the order of a Cat 4.
Luckily for all of us, Hurricane Johnny turned around and never made landfall.
March roars in like a lion.
Smooch was at the eye of the storm,
unsure of which to fear most – the cat...
...or the forecast.
In the end, the cat asked to go outside and the storm wasn't nearly as bad as predicted.
What a funny girl you are! Cat 4. Have had predictions of those at my house too, but none made landfall either, thank the War Gods. I'm gonna chortle all day.
ReplyDeleteso glad this story had a happy ending and no Cat 4 hit Smooch....
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're 1 storm away from those two snuggling on the couch together.
ReplyDeleteMy thought exactly. Two storms, max. :)
DeleteYou're on a roll today! Also, love seeing some interior shots of your beautiful and interesting home.
ReplyDeleteI love how Johnny's ears align with the long ears in the picture on the wall. You are so clever!
ReplyDeleteAnimals have such a brilliant instinct about weather.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures and the play by play.
ReplyDeleteLaurie
JCC had a job to do. And his own snug bed to get to. Love that they sometimes have a kind of stasis. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteGlad the storm wasnt as bad as thought it would be, wonderful pictures thanks for sharing,
ReplyDeletethey are sure cute together :)
ReplyDeleteI love your leather loveseat. I'm just wondering if Smooch's nails are hard on it? I'm thinking of getting a leather ottoman and I have a yellow lab.
ReplyDeleteThere are a few scratches on it from her nails, but she hasn't poked any holes in it.
DeleteHurricane Johnny!!! Love it love it! what a big mouth he is opening! he must have been tired.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like they are getting on a bit better now? Glad that they can be peaceful roomies!
