Enjoyed the video and the tune :) Somehow, snow and New Mexico do not go together in my mind. Is this an abnormal year for you, don't remember you having that much snow for so long?
What's worse a cold fence post or cold snowy ground. Hard choice for a cat. I bet he asked to go in by the fire for the rest of the day. It is what cats do.
JCC is handsome in any weather. I just fixated on his very long tail this time. That thing looks like it could wrap around him once and a half times. Brrrrr cold on our weather. Come on sunshine. Oma Linda
Love the video. It brings to mind so many JCC questions: how is he doing at his real job of keeping rodents down? Is the reddish hey around his mouth from, uhhh, dinner? Nights outside or inside? Does he have a preference? Aunt Jean
1. Still finding dead rodents in Johnny's wake. 2. The reddish around his mouth is poor video quality. 3. Nights outside in the feedroom, snuggled up in his cat cave with his snugglesafe (http://www.the7msnranch.com/2013/12/johnnys-winter-survival-strategies.html). He really does prefer being outside day and night, with just the occasional house call.
He needs a small triangular platform right there so he can observe his barnyard in comfort, so get out the saw, go find a scrap of wood and get to work. You know he'd love it.
Well done video...no visible shivering of the lens from your cold hands! Oh, and I do believe that the dirty look we get from JCC at the end is because he is wondering WHY there is no goldfish swimming in HIS water bowl??!!
That's a diddy of a tune. Robert Keen has a new bluegrass CD coming out soon which I must have. Can't wait to see JCC's new observation deck. Hope it can be in a sunny spot....and maybe another in the shade.

ReplyDeleteThe cold and snow are pretty average, sadly.

ReplyDeleteThe sun is finally out after not seeing it for two days! I think that may be a record.
DeleteI hope you know that was worth every looong minute you spent doing it! Oh my, you make me cold, watching it -- how cats do dislike frigid temps.

ReplyDeleteLike I need another project! But it's a great idea. I see a platform in JCC's future.
DeleteDo it!!!
DeleteGreat idea!!!
DeleteI think the snow gets between his toes. He then has to lick them clean. Maybe he'd just rather not. :)
