When I turn off my computer at the end of the day, I put a hat on it
to keep out the dust, and the cat hair...
to keep out the dust, and the cat hair...
...which wasn't a big deal until recently...
...when the feral beast decided a cozy fire and watching TV
is more fun than chasing mice in the barn.
He's in for the winter.

He's just letting the stock build itself back up. No doubt, soon he'll be back out there being a rodent-killing machine.
ReplyDeleteA very well-rested rodent-killing machine.
I'll just say it because JCC can't, and i can see it in the look he's giving that hat. If that computer were moved (and maybe a few other things), he could take a very nice nap right there beside you.
ReplyDeleteYour computer is round...and shiny? I can't wrap my head around that, lol.
ReplyDeleteI thought I blogged about that shiny computer but if I did, I can't find the post. It's a Mac.
DeleteInquiring minds want to know: how you gonna get em back in the barn after they've seen Paree?
ReplyDeleteHe is so vicious...don't think I'd want him in my house :-)
ReplyDeleteYou so lucked out when Johnny came to live with you.
ReplyDeleteSmart kitty.
ReplyDeleteMy cats are allowed in in the winter also. After a summer of outdoors, they loose all house manners. Such an adjustment for all. The hat trick is a purrfect idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the cat. Nice fire and TV. BA SP
ReplyDeleteHardly feral, that guy. House beats barn any day for winter quarters. He does have to keep up his rounds and acrobatics though. Indoor/outdoor cat. That is the life for Johnny. He wouldn't have it any other way. Might miss something.
ReplyDeletesweet. He's a lucky 'feral' cat but so are you. Quite a personality he has
ReplyDeleteHe is no dummy that is for sure. He knows where his bread is toasted and buttered. You have the prettiest computer on the block! I thought you were perhaps baking bread until I read the above post. All this talk about bread and toast and butter is making me hungry in this government cubicle. Have a great Tuesday!
ReplyDeletethis feral beast has morphed into the loveliest and sweetest cat in the whole region, a wonderful companion for you in front of the screen or the fire
ReplyDeleteI am guessing, knowing what my cat would do, that JCC is sitting on the hot hat. If I remember well lastt year you brought him something that would stay warm all night, he just remembers it
ReplyDeleteSmart cat.
ReplyDeleteIt might be good that he is staying in in this winter weather, predators have more trouble find dinner and Johnny just might be that meal. At least he is safe.
ReplyDeleteAt least he is safe inside and away from hungry coyotes! And, he can snuggle with you, too!
