In November 2012, I went to Florida to visit my parents for a few days and Ethel and the Ethelettes
(her daughter and son) flew in to ranchsit.

Ethelette #2 (Jay) is a photographer. That's him leading the pack string on Lucy.
He took lots and lots of pictures during his stay at the 7MSN,
which Ethel brought along on a CD for me this trip.

I love all the pictures he took and am fascinated by seeing my animals and ranch through someone else's eyes.
I thought you might be, too, so I'll share a few of my favorites here today.
I'll shut up so you can just sit back and look.
Awesome photos, all of them, can't pick a favorite. love them ALL.. i like the low light shots a lot.... they made me feel happy and i smiled all the way through.
ReplyDeleteI like the feeling I get when I see Ethel hugging Lucy. It is beautiful seeing an animal enjoy being loved by a human. I remember this post from before and I get the feeling of looking at a family album.
ReplyDeleteIt's often interesting to see your 'normal' thru someone else's eyes......
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I love the one of you with the donkey and you at the stove with the hopeful dog standing nearby, waiting for you to share whatever it is you're going to make. :-) As soon as I'm in the kitchen, one of my dogs is THERE, hopefully waiting.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. No waving grass in the pasture that year. Animals all warm and secure with visiting hands.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the family enjoying and loving what I have experienced at the ranch. They have such great memories and I know will probably visit on their own. They felt the beauty and grandness everytime they came outside and loved Carson's kids like their own.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great start to my morning! I love the ones of the donkey's being loved, but I think my favourite is the one at the table - a beautiful shot indeed!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. You have amazing friends, gorgeous animals and a beautiful ranch home. You are blessed by many good things. I am so happy for you.

ReplyDeleteI love particularly the merging paths.
