I take alot of pictures. Some are blog-worthy because they fit together nicely and help me tell a story; others are not.
I can't bring myself to throw away the leftovers so maybe I'll use my Sunday posts to give them a home.
Herewith, the first collection of what's left in the camera from the previous week.
Johnny and I share a desire to be taller.
One more backlit picture of Hank grazing. I can't help myself.
I love it when Alan and George play kissy face.
This is what happens when I stand on the Ranger seat to take a picture from a different angle.
George expects a butt scratch under every circumstance.
This is George's worried face. He's wearing his halter, so that can mean only one thing:
the farrier is coming.
This is Smooch's worried face. She's worried that a rabbit might run by and
she won't be able to chase it because she's wearing her seat belt.
Summer sunset...the horizon looks like it's on fire.
Summer sunset the next day...the horizon is on fire. It was caused by lightning.
Fire crews contained it by morning and that was the end of the story. Good thing.
Good idea.
ReplyDeletelove your left overs, keep them coming.. every time i look at Smooches beautiful face I know why you named her that. she makes me want to smooch her
ReplyDeleteAfter living in California, I recognize smoke in any picture. Bless the firefighters.

Using your "leftovers," what a great idea. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteGeorge difinately looks "alarmed."
Great idea using leftovers. We do that here at the Casa too. Gotta tell you that my husband heard on the radio about the fire down you way and called me to see if you had posted anything and if all at 7MSN was okay? We followed the news on the fire and were relieved that it was not a huge one and had been contained. You've got the whole of the Casa de Cuckoo trained. Glad you and the "kids" are all okay.
