JohnnyCashCat has claimed the front porch as his own.
He likes to nap in the shade on the cool concrete.
If I forget and leave the gate open, the chickens will visit and poop all over the place.
Johnny likes a clean porch as much as I do and resents the intrusion.
I used to worry about Johnny attacking the chickens.
Not anymore.
He backs off every time.
JCC: Maybe she won't recognize me with stripes.
Minnie: Nice try, cat.
Not all chickens are chicken. Some think that all others should bow down to them.
ReplyDeleteChickens are just tiny dinosaurs. Dinosaurs that eat meat. JCC is a smart boy to know when to retreat.
ReplyDeleteBirds are funny characters and can be quite mean. My Grandma had two large geese and they would attack people as they got out of their car if they didn't recognize them. They would open their wings and fly at you. Very nasty experience. My Grandmother had them under control, and all would be well when she chased them off. BA SP
ReplyDeleteCats and chickens, both endearingly funny creatures.

JCC is just a big chicken ;p
ReplyDeleteThose chickens are like a jailhouse gang. JCC knows to move along and go about his own business.
ReplyDeleteyeh, I'd leave too if I was a cat...those damn chickens are carnivores..... and ... BIG .....
ReplyDeleteHa ha - that is one intimidating chicken! And JCC is one smart cat. :)
ReplyDeleteJohnny knows what they do with the night's hunt!
ReplyDeleteNo sense in tempting them.
