It wasn't hot or windy when I took these pictures, so I don't know why Alan, George and Lucy were hiding in the woods.
Maybe they didn't feel like having their pictures taken.
Or maybe they were hiding from too-tall Hank. He doesn't fit under the juniper limbs.
Then again, maybe they just wanted a good laugh watching me trip over the branches.
The light was sure pretty though.
Lucy looks good wearing camo.
these are even more amazing than the ones in the back forty.. i love the trees as much as the sweet faces. A plus on all of these. love them
ReplyDeleteIf you had been trying to get them to do that it never would have happened. Models can be so tempestuous. Love the light and the soft faces.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Lucy sure does look like she is smirking at you! Beautiful pictures though. And such awesome subjects!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are super. Love the way the light filters through the trees and your long ears always have such expressive eyes. Thanks for the peek. Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteOh my! All of these photos are great. But the first one of Lucy looking at the camera is definitely calendar worthy! She looks like an angel.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they were messin' with your head......
ReplyDeleteIt's because these Juniper colours suit them so well, les Petits Chéris!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours and textures in Alan's face in the first shot... I almost can feel him soaking in the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I think your hypothesis of them wanting a good laugh is correct. They are gorgeous donkeys.
ReplyDeleteI love the second and third pictures of Alan with the branch across his head, it almost winds up looking like a crown . . .King of the Donkeys!
ReplyDeleteJo
Beautiful photos! Love love the diversity out there where you roam!!!
