Stooping to Lucy's level

Lunch was delayed a bit yesterday because first I had to convince Lucy to get up from her nap.



All good naps end with a roll.



Lucy: You ought to try this, mom. It really doesn't get any better than this.



If it weren't for George standing over me angling for a butt scratch, I probably would have.



All good rolls end with a vigorous shake.



Lucy: I'm ready for my lunch now.



Me: In a minute. I was just getting comfortable.
