Saving money makes me happy

It occurred to me as I was doing a little online shopping today that some folks may not know about a site called retail me not. It's my go-to place before I ever click a "purchase" button. I go to the site, type the name of the store where I will be making my purchase in the search window, and up will pop a list of current promo codes for that store. Today I saved 20% when I bought two pairs of my favorite mittens. Saving money makes me happy. So does this picture of Johnny.

    I always use retail me not and also ebates which gives you additional cash back on many things (you search through them and once at site you want to buy from, enter the code you got at RMN--so you end up getting more off. (I order my contacts this way and generally pay about half). . You get paid a quarterly check with all your savings from EB. My strategy is all attributable to reading the blog Money Saving Mom and becoming totally obsessed with saving. I'm slightly less obsessed now. Oops gotta go procrastinating on getting wood here in winter wonderland (sigh). Hugs to all, Ann from Maine
