Me: Lucy, please stop staring at me. It's not polite.
Lucy: You've been hanging out with George long enough. It's my turn now.
Lucy: My big nose is cuter than his big butt.
Lucy: How can you possibly resist this face?
Me: I see your point.
Me: Just be patient for a bit longer, then we'll switch.
Lucy: I'm feeling most unloved.
She is definitely talking to you. They all have such a wonderful home.

ReplyDeletePoor Lucy.
ReplyDeleteAw Lucy, we all love you. I think the donkey who has to wait the longest for scritches should get the most treats.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor Lucy. She does have the most adorable nose. And ears.
ReplyDeleteLucy chérie!
ReplyDeleteI love that third to last pic! She is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI think you should let her in the house. I'm sure she would love to snuggle on the couch.
ReplyDeleteIn that last picture it looks like Lucy is shod on her front hooves. I didn't know that was an option for donkeys. Interesting.
You're very observant, Judith. Lucy has been wearing shoes for just a few months. She was having some issues with her front feet and the vet recommended we try them - so far, so good!
DeleteAwww....give that girl some lovin' I'm sure she would LOVE to come into your house!
