When JohnnyCashCat comes into the house to watch tv, Smooch usually is outside doing her favorite thing (barking).
Smooch prefers the frigid temperatures outdoors over the living room sauna, and dark and edgy dramas just aren't her thing.
Now that I look at this picture, Johnny doesn't seem all that into Breaking Bad repeats either.
Too bad. She who pays the tv bill gets to decide what's on.

Anyway, for whatever reason, on this night Smooch decided to come inside.
Perhaps she wanted the family to be together during the holidays.
I love it when they ignore each other and I don't have to supervise.
Smooch: Tell me again why he gets a couch all to his big self and I have to share mine?
Smooch: Life can be so unfair sometimes.
The reason he gets the whole couch to himself: REALLY SHARP CLAWS!
ReplyDeleteJohnny knows how to live the good life! It won't be long before he and Smooch are snuggling on the love seat together!
ReplyDeletea peaceful coexistnce, that feels good!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the cold, dark nights helped with the truce. I bet Smooch likes sharing the sofa with the cookie-lady :)
ReplyDeleteQuestion is ... when the long, warm, sunny days return ... what will be the norm then?

ReplyDeletecareful Smooch, I am almost feeling sorry for ya girl ;p
ReplyDeleteThey will be best snuggle-buddies before long ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the little glimpses of the great 7MSN indoors!
I'm so happy for you - because Johnny Cash Cat turned out to be such a winner.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the tv screen, I KNEW who that was! Oh my...although, I have to say, Walter White is really starting to bug me...
ReplyDeletePoor Smooch. Willow can TOTALLY relate. On the upside though, the cat doesn't go for car rides.
Big squeezes all 'round.

Peaceful coexistence, excellent happening for the new year.
ReplyDeleteHalf the time my two thirteen year old male house cats fight with one another. Have been together since they were oh so young.Jag gets bored and Mokey is the entertainment.
Very inviting living room. Not a BB fan, but did watch the final 8 shows. Some bandwagons are just too inviting.
Smooch, Your Moma wants to remind you that you were here first and she wants to be with you. She has plenty of time for that interloper when you aren't looking. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so very cool that Smooch and JCC have come to the peaceful ignoring stage. Everyone's a winner when that happens. Cosy, comfy and all together, nice start to 2014. The Cuckoos at the Casa
ReplyDeleteOoh! LOVE your new curtains!!! You know that's one of my fav' colors!
ReplyDeleteThey do so much for the living room. Oh and yes they go so well with Johnny and Smooch on the love seats.
I just knew they would be okay together!
This gives me great hope for the universe! Carson, you saw great possibilities in this sweet kitty. Love wins out. A great start to a new year. Wish I was sitting with you. Love from the Tundra. RSS5
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up. Love how they are getting along so well. Don't tell Smooch but cats rule. lol
ReplyDeleteI love seeing JCC in the house, all cozified, and now Smooch is there beside you as well. It must have something to do with the color orange.
ReplyDeleteI love your decor and most of all I the peaceful co-existence between your critters. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteDang it! I knew it, Carson...you've got yourself a house kitty! :-)

Oh c'mon Smooch, what you're really thinking is: "Ha! She's sitting with ME!" Don't try and pretend you're to be pitied :)
