Me: Come on, boys. It's Christmas week and we need some wintery pictures for the blog.
Hank: Ever so happy to oblige.
Alan: I'm not sure this is a good idea...
...but there's no way I'm staying in the barn by myself.
Lucy: Seriously? You want me to come out there and get my hair wet?
Lucy: The things I'm forced to do for this stinkin' blog...I swear...
Lucy: I need goggles.
Lucy: You owe me.
Alan: Are you happy now? Can we go back to the barn?
There must be very cold .. it is better in the barn yea :p
ReplyDeleteOMG! Your place looks like Lapland!!Xmas donkeys! wonder if Johnny came out!
ReplyDeleteYour place has had a LOT of snow for NM. Tell the herd that they should dream of all that green grass that's going to be nourished by this white stuff! Merry Christmas, 7MSN!
ReplyDeleteoh my, i would have my eyes closed to... Merry White Christmas to all of you
ReplyDeleteLove the last photo! Would make a great Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures .. the herd looks like they want to sleep in this morning :). It is lovely, but I know you are missing the clear skies and dry ground. Just think of all the accumulated groundwater for next summer.
ReplyDeleteChange of subject: this morning on the news they had an interesting segment on an retired racehorse with bad knees who paints (for some reason I thought of Hank ... paint horse with bad knees).
Here is a link -- quite interesting.

Happy Holidays.
M in NC
Such beautiful pictures! The last one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteMERRY CHRISTMAS!
Poor Alan! The things we do for fame...and our moms!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! No snow here, just rain and 60 degrees in the DC metro area. Cold front coming though, so 30s on the big day.
ReplyDeleteThe gang are such good sports;) I cannot believe the snow you are receiving. One does not think of NM receiving a lot of snow.
ReplyDeletePoor sweeties! I hope they got cookies for all their trouble.
ReplyDeleteI also hope you stay warm and sure-footed on all that snow.
Oh it's so pretty! Snowflakes in their eyelashes...and I bet the air smells so fresh. Lucy peeking...you could tell they thoughts you were nuts!
ReplyDelete(We just had tons of rain, yuck)
It is so beautiful in the snow....but I think I understand their wanting to stay warm and dry. But the photos are so wonderful. Happy Snowy Christmas to all at 7MSN.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Lucy could use some ear muffs and a scarf too! Merry Christmas to you and the gang.
ReplyDeletebrrrrrr! looks freezing! great pictures though, as always.
ReplyDeleteYep, the pictures are worth it. That last one is a grabber. I recall that Lucy came from Colorado to NM so she is not exactly a stranger to snow.
ReplyDeleteHank is so cool. Always. I'm with Alan. Winter weather always hurts my feelings.
I just love that last picture, so Christmasy!! Now get your hinnies back in the barn and get warm!! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures and the words you imagine them saying are fantastic. It's always enjoyable to read what's happening at 7MSN. You and your critters are like family that I don't send a Christmas card to. But that's only because I don't know your address. So I'll just send wishes for Happy Holidays to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteOk, not only do I see lots of snow, it would appear to be horizontal snow at times, meaning it's also quite windy. Ick.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm betting you've got it toasty warm inside, right? :-)
The boys and Lady Lucy are as beautiful as always...
P.S. I just checked your forecast and, yay, looks like the snow should be done for a while. Next five days should be sunny and in the mid 40's! Break out the bikiniiiiiiiii! :-)
ReplyDeleteAll but Hank singing the first line of this song...over and over and over again..."The weather outside is FRIGHTFUL"!!
ReplyDeleteHa, where's the Queen...snug in her Pigloo, right??!!
What? Snow AGAIN? Gee, Carson...we're having days with 70 degrees here in our desert. Hopefully you will get that nice, warm sunshine in a day or two~!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and all your critters and family~
Cheryl Ann in sunny So. Cal.
That last photo ought to be your January of next year in your calender.
