When I started this blog five six years and 1,635 1,978 posts ago, it was just me out here, talking to myself.
As the months flew by, more and more of you started dropping in to visit,
and now I get to share my pictures and stories with a circle of friends I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined.
You love my animals, laugh at my jokes, support me in my adventures and,
unlike most places on the internet, never have an unkind word to say.
unlike most places on the internet, never have an unkind word to say.
This blog wouldn't live to see another day without you. Thanks.
Thank you. You've been such a trooper, you are so generous to share your little ranch and four legged friends with a bunch of (former)strangers. I love those bluebirds.
ReplyDeleteYour blog and your family are such an important part of my day. My morning coffee tastes so much better when I'm having it with you. THANK YOU!
ReplyDelete"never have an unkind word to say" WOW, no trolls!! ;) I like to start my day with caffeine and the 7MSN gang.....
ReplyDeleteI love to visit your ranch. It's such a pleasure to see all the furry friends and their antics. You are a great caption writer, Carson. Thanks for all the laughs.
ReplyDeleteBest always, Sandra
I can't even imagine starting my day in RI without my morning fix of 7MSN!
ReplyDeleteTo know that I can count on a chuckle or an outright belly laugh from my friends on the ranch makes it part of my morning routine. Even when life goes about it's routine and presents it's sad moments, it is uplifting to see how you, Linda, and all my other buddies on the ranch continue to find joy in your days. Keep those gorgeous photos and hilarious commentaries coming - as I don;t know what I would do without them!
you are funny, your writing is hilarious, you are constant in your posting thru the years (very rare in blogsphere), your animals are cute and social, 7Msn is my little daily visit to paradise. Thank you Linda, we love you. HIP HIP
ReplyDeleteoops I forgot: you have achieved the right proportion between text and images
ReplyDeleteI look forwarded to your blog every morning as I am drinking my coffee. I enjoy the pictures of your animals and your dialog with your animals!!! I just celebrated my 79th birthday yesterday but some 13 years ago my husband and I had a small farm with horses, dogs and cats. Keep up the good stories and pictures.

ReplyDeleteAnd thank you too for sharing a life that's interesting, different and full of lifes ups and downs, beauty and sorrow and lots of great photos and 4 footed love. My day isn't complete till Ive checked in to see whats up in your world.
ReplyDeletePS: feed that Jonny cat a little more, he's so skinny, I think hes probably taken care of all the mice by now. :)
Thank *you* for sharing, with this Blog, the fruit of your talent, sense of humor, inspiration, generosity, esprit, and heart. I imagine that, even for a born photographer, dialog writer and computer pro like you, it must take quite a bit of work to make this Blog the gift that it is, day after day. Thank YOU!
ReplyDeleteYou don't realize how many time your blog has brightened my day. Thank you so much Carson!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your life on the ranch with us. I don't always comment but I try to keep up with you and the gang.
ReplyDeletehey!! and thanks to you for all the lovely photos..the fun and the laughs....
ReplyDeleteBeen lurking and loving it. Glad I found your place. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI echo redhorse's sentiments .. "thank *you*".
ReplyDeleteYou always bring it home, and remind us of what's really important in life. You share yours (and that of your herd, and Smooch, Wynonna, Johnny and the chickens) with us. Your blog is the first thing I read every morning, with coffee in hand. It's a great way to begin the day.
I suspect the "thank you's" are mutual!
Maggy
you are always my first stop of the day, i can't wait to see what you post... these birds are amazing, so many and the photos are amazing to... don't tell my blogger friends but your blog is my most favorite of all...
ReplyDeleteI love visiting your blog and hearing about your animals and adventures. I'm sorry about your recent loss of your wonderful Dad. Glad your animals are helping your heart to heal. I don't often comment but I enjoy your blog so much! Thank you for sharing! Alice
ReplyDeleteRight back at you blogging friend. So glad to see you back online. I could not have imagined how much I would learn and enjoy from visiting 7MSN every day. My family knows who I mean when I say "Linda's herd was so funny today ...' Hugs from The Meadow herd!
ReplyDeleteYou my dear are a very important part of our day here at Casa de Cuckoo. Love us some funny 7MSN banter and share in the real part of what life is with you as well. xoxo Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteI am right with all those other 523 guys who thing you are a very fine person and terrific blogger.
ReplyDeleteBeing a donkey, cat, dog, chicken lover hasn't hurt me here either.
When will you be building something again, I miss all the plans, maps, etc.
All good wishes to you,
Jo in MN
You write great posts...creative and fun....the kind that keep us coming back for more. So good to find kindred spirits who love our animals so much. BTW, the bird photos are great!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better....we miss you when you are gone!!
We are sooo glad to have you back "in the saddle" Jeanne in SC
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog and admire you living 7 miles south of nowhere with all your animals that are so lucky to have you.
ReplyDeleteBetsy
What everybody else said: Thank YOU! A day without the 7MSN gang is like a day without sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm the bird in the next-to-last picture with my mouth open and all the other birds looking perturbed.
I don't comment too often but I must say that I am totally addicted to your blog. You amaze me and you make me laugh even when I don't feel like it.
ReplyDeleteYou are living my dream...(minus the snakes).
Thank YOU!
You are a bright spot in our day!
ReplyDeleteLove visiting the 7MSN.
ReplyDeleteWendy
Carson, you are part of my morning routine! I missed your first year, but found you your second and now I can't start my day without your blog! Beautiful birds, by the way! We had a scrub jay here for nearly 4 years, until a pair of hawks moved into our neighborhood...sigh...now he is GONE and I am sad.

I stumbled on to 7MSN about a year ago and what a gift I got for myself. Best photos ever that by themselves make me chuckle --add the captions and double delight. I introduced my niece and now she's an addict too.
ReplyDelete❤. For everything posted and for everything yet to come. ❤
ReplyDeleteHappy to be one of those birds following your herd!
ReplyDeleteYou start my day off with all the fantastic pictures and antics of those boys and girls.
I've been in love with New Mexico for almost 50 years. Your posts and photos keep me in touch with the wonderful beautiful magnificent loneliness (a pitiful description but the best I can do) of the land there. It's called "living vicariously", and your blog makes it such a pleasure.
ReplyDeletePlus, I think your animals really do talk. ;)
Yep, my morning is not complete without a 7MSN story to start my day. YOU my dear, have become a big part of my own circle of friends! :)
ReplyDeleteOh how sad I would be if you weren't here every morning!!! I thank you for sharing your life and adventures with us. You are so talented, Carson, and you have some amazing animals. God bless you! Love the sweet bird pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love how you can take the pictures and tie all your words together to represented in those pictures. Now if only I could write a comment that made sense. ;o)
