Alan: It's still snowing, I'm stuck out here in a drift, and
Hank is blocking the only open door to the barn. What to do...what to do...
Alan: I'm making a run for it. What's the worst that can happen?
Alan: Score!
Hank took Alan's bold move in stride and went right back to eating.
Hank: He's lucky I don't hold a grudge.
Well good for him :P

ReplyDeleteI'm curious. When your animals encounter a knee-high snowfall for the first time in a season, do they try to step on top of it or instinctively shuffle through it like you or I would? I hope the moisture from the (eventually) melting snow helps the pasture next year.
ReplyDeleteAlan is pretty brave for a scaredy cat. :o)
