Six years

Six years ago yesterday, Smooch and I drove to Colorado to adopt George and Alan and bring them home.
In honor of the occasion, I gathered the family around me to re-tell the tale of that fateful day
and how my life changed immeasurably upon the arrival of two wild little burros.

Clearly they've heard the story one too many times....

...although George and Alan did get a little emotional when I got to the part where I opened the trailer doors
and they saw the wide open spaces before them.

Alan even broke into song.

  11. Well Happy "we found each other" anniversary. And a lovely one it is. Your herd is so beautiful. And the Boyz are so very fortunate to have been the object of your adoption. And they have blessed you ever since with just being. Lucky ones you are. Oma Linda
