I've posted before about my obsession with Breaking Bad, and it's about to get worse. The final eight episodes begin airing Sunday night, and I've got to finish re-watching 22 episodes from seasons four and five before that happens. That can only mean one thing: I'll be crossing over to the dark side for the weekend, hopefully to emerge sometime on Monday without saying b*tch or yo at the end of every sentence.
I can't blog from the dark side. I get too weird. So I'm going to take the next three days off. You'll thank me for that in the long run.
I'll try to find a few oldies-but-goodies to re-post and fill the gap, but there won't be anything fresh.
See you on the other side.
With sincere apologies,
Have a good time watching this weekend and if you run into any trouble, better call Saul!
ReplyDeleteI'm only on season 3 Yo.
ReplyDeleteI have been watching it on Netflex. I have the last episode to watch so I'm ahead of you. It is a page turner. It must have been a long haul just to make this series.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the episodes.
Best always,
We are also trying to catch up. So we will be doing the last season all of Sunday. So sad that this is the last season though.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend...
color me clueless (no cable).
ReplyDeleteLocal PBS is doing the quarterly fund-raiser and I have HOBBIT-1 from the library for this weekend. I should be returning from Middle-Earth by Monday ;)
Enjoy the weekend --- hopefully get a ride or 2 in and maybe locate a few of the AWOL fly masks.

Different content, but I did the same with Mad Men and loved it! Everyone needs to do marathon watching once in awhile. Don... The man you love to hate
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, in a creepy sort of way. You're right it's way too dark to try to blog normally.
ReplyDeleteI don't know ANYthing about BB, but I get the feeling that perhaps you shouldn't let the herd watch it. (yo)
ReplyDeleteWe just finished all 3 seasons of Downton Abbey. Loved every moment. Can't imagine going over to the dark side for quite awhile.
ReplyDeleteIt will be then time to watch "Longmire" on A&E network! (Tuesdays at 9pm CDT)
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 is finishing next week or the week after that. I can only beg the network to renew it for a third season. I'm reading the series of Craig Johnson's books to satisfy my 'tween times.
Look at some episodes on A&E online or read his first Longmire novel in the series. You'll be hooked.
(BTW...need more rain? We have extra in Nashville.)
I'm doing the same thing. It's a lot of catching up but what are ya gonna do. Glad it's raining here today. Then I don't feel so guilty.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up....
ReplyDeleteI am happy for you... but as a faithful blogger I cant just feel a little abandoned! how dare you!! (joking)
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad used to be one of my all-time favorite t.v. shows. Recently, I, too, was looking at past episodes in preparation, and the dark side was just too much. Maybe it's the economy, or world geopolitics, or, or....
ReplyDeleteBut bully for you - go immerse yourself and revel in the danger! Btw, found your blog via Rain.

First time ever - I laughed out loud - when I scrolled to your name all periodic tabled out! Too funny. We'll be ok -
ReplyDeleteYo! The last time you mentioned catching up on Breaking Bad, I thought "Huh?? What's Breaking Bad?"
ReplyDeleteSo, I read about it, ordered Netflix and have done pretty much nothing else for the last couple of weeks other than watch it. I L.O.V.E it!!
We don't have cable, so I won't be able to see the last of it until Netflix carries it. So... no spoilers in your blog! :)
YO---no need to apologize, Bitch! Any good citizen of the great state of New Mexico should be glued to the set Sunday night. As I will be.
ReplyDeleteAny questions about your sanity have been sufficiently answered! I hope you're not planning to use Lucy, George and Allen as drug donkeys!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your days off!
