The hard part about being on vacation is not being in the company of my animals.
One must seek out suitable substitutes whenever an opportunity presents itself,
even if it means looking like a dork on a public street in front of an artisanal chocolate factory
while waiting for the tour to begin.
The security guard checked us out.
I gave her the secret password and we were allowed in.
Such a friendly, funny feline, and it turns out we have something in common.
Her name is Leeen-da.
Are we going to be seeing photos of daeling Leeen-da back at rhe 7MSN?
ReplyDeleteLeen-da is a gorgeous cat! She looks like a Hemingway cat with six toes, does she also have that claim to fame?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Jo
love love love this one, sitting the camera on the ground is my favorite thing to do, but i have never gotten a live suject.
ReplyDeleteQue bonita Leenda
ReplyDeleteLeen-da's "black eye" makes her look like one tough security hombre!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! And she posed so prettily for you.
ReplyDeleteNancy, stuck in Iowa
You have just dredged up a buried memory of mine! In college I volunteered a couple of summers with international exchange students, and our director's name was Linda. All the Spanish-speaking students thought it was adorable, and since she was rather short it seemed fitting. "Leee-nda, Leee-nda" followed her around for two weeks of the program.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Not a word about what kind of tour you went on. And how funny that you ran into a cat named Leen-da. She is muy bonita.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I love your blog, you always have animals on your mind too.
ReplyDelete:D
I think you should consider changing the spelling of your name to Leen-da. I like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty, gorgeous cat! Nice name, too. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI only recognized you in that first shot because of the blue toenails. :oD
Leeen-da looks as if she is very proud of herself and the job that she does. Look at the way she holds herself so erect, back strong, chin up.
ReplyDeleteShe might even be just a little too full of herself. Did she speak any English?
Leenda means beautiful. I'm sure you know it already. In French we call them turtoise-shell colour. she is photogenic indeed!
ReplyDeleteWonder what happened to the top of her left ear? She's a beauty though, and knows it. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, she's a beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the "camera on the ground" pose!
ReplyDeleteLeen-da has a wonderful name.
ReplyDeleteLynda in Michigan.
The guy ignoring the fact that Leeen-da is all over him is even funnier .....
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous !!!
ReplyDeleteLove the name.
