Oh gosh, this one made me laugh out loud for real! When we are grilling, we always say that it's beef, even if it's chicken, so our flock doesn't get concerned.
I honestly don't know how you manage to get any work done with all the animals. Between long ears, handsome Hank, Smooch, the girls, I would be so distracted. You should invite the girls in for coffee or mice. LOL
That's hilarious! They're giving you the same looks Emma gives me when she's outside and jumps on the window sill to demand I open the door and let her back in! She doesn't peck, though.
A little paranoia arising among your flock....?
ReplyDeleteoh no, i did not think to ask where you got the chicken you roasted.. at least the chickens peering in your door are not tossing a mouse around. YET
ReplyDeletePerhaps they think it's "Bring Your Chickens to Work" Day?
ReplyDeleteThey could come interrupt me anyday. ;)
uh-oh, they found you out.
ReplyDeleteYep, Out Loud Laughing! She's got her eye on you.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteWhere do you suppose they found out? I mean, chickens don't have a great sense of smell, do they?
ReplyDeleteSmooch wouldn't rat on you, would he? Lets hope not!

ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! It really does look like they would like to be invited in :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought perhaps she had brought you something to put in the crockpot in protest.
ReplyDeleteI love that they are checking up on you.
ReplyDeleteYou have officially been clucked at by the hens. Bold ones at that :)
ReplyDeletethey came to tell you they want their picture on your header too, they belong to the family
ReplyDeleteOh my! This gave me a good chuckle for the day! You may need to pull the blinds closed on your door just to get your work done. :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!

Oh my. How can you get any work done at all with those characters peering in your window? Adorable, if not a little intimidating.
