When I focus on Hank and how handsome he looks in the New Mexico twilight,
I can almost take my mind off how dry the pasture is...
...and how it hasn't rained or snowed since the end of February.
It's got to rain eventually, doesn't it?
I will choose to look at the bright side.
Dust is easier to remove than mud.
There's no danger of the tires getting sucked off the truck the next time I go to town.
I don't have to worry about Hank slipping and falling on the dust.
And these pictures wouldn't have been nearly as nice had it been raining.
Boy does that guy look handsome! Especially in the next to last photo!
ReplyDeleteall true, and Hank is handsome dust or no dust and mud or no mud.. these are awesome with the sand blowing in the wind
ReplyDeleteHank must be the most photogenic horse in the world. Seriously. Waving his pretty hooves in the air, or shaking dust, or just standing so casually majestic.
ReplyDeleteneat pics...love #2....what a hunk.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a colt in the photos! Handsome boy.
ReplyDeleteHank: It feels so good...........
ReplyDeleteA handsome fella, no doubt! I love the pic where it looks like he's in a yoga pose :)
ReplyDeleteOnly here would I get to see this.
ReplyDeleteEveyrday I ask for rain for you.
Hank is gorgeous, even covered in dust! I wish I could share with you some of the rain we've gotten in the past week. It came with heavy storms, but fortunately no tornados near us. We do have a small river flooding about 5 miles east of me, but I don't think there's any danger of the Missouri River flooding as it did 2 years ago. That's only about 7 miles from me in the other direction. Anyway, I'll be thinking of rain for you!
