On the first day of March, it was warm enough after dinner to hang out with the herd.
No wind, no cold, no gloves, no hat, no scarf...
...no complaints.
We know better than to believe winter is over, so we'll savor these precious moments while they last.
Those are gorgeous photographs. Really makes us yearn for summer.
ReplyDeleteUh, we have a storm front moving in Thursday and Friday with rain forecast. I'll be out this afternoon, then, planting my bulk sunflower, black eyed Susan, and zinnia seeds! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're getting warmer temperatures during the day, which is enough to keep me going when more snow is forecast - there are storm warnings for today, with blowing snow and freezing rain. Eeek! I'm currently in complete denial. Enjoy the warm weather!
ReplyDeleteThe lion is up at my place. It's cold, windy, and just plain nasty.
ReplyDeleteYour pics give me hope towards spring.
Best always,
Love the pictures.....Lovely day yesterday and today snow. Spring in Co. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI love the silhouette photos. And here at Casa de Cuckoo, we also had a very enjoyable "peek" at the good times to come. We even have Mourning Dove doing their thing here now. Guess we will see some shivering birds before winter leaves for good. Enjoy your Sunday, Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteLove the silhouettes. That little bit of Spring is going to be here tomorrow. I'm ready.
ReplyDeleteSmell like spring here today, but one never knows what's around the corner this time of year.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that first picture, beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful photos! Not here, though. The sky has been gray for several days, and I'm waiting for the afternoon snow flurries to start. They're predicted for the next 3 days, then we're supposed to have some sun. Not a bird in sight yet.

Truly beautiful pictures, Carson! Perhaps a calendar pic among them? I loved turning over to March 2013 and seeing the boys beautiful faces! It made up for the start of fall heralding the end of what has been a glorious summer in my part of the world.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteHoly guacamole those are STUNNING shots......
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! We're a little jealous since it started snowing on the way home tonight. :)
ReplyDeleteHas shedding season started yet? Now once I see that, I know winter is over.
ReplyDeleteMy little piece of Minniesnowda is down for 10=12 inches of new snow between tonight and tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI only hope it doesn't last because my house is eager for spring.

Beautiful colors and contrast. It's 23 degrees in NY now and snowed lightly all day yesterday. Our spring probably won't hit until late April. Aughhhh
