We rejoin our story from yesterday's post, with Lucy contemplating the wisdom of eating yucca pods,
which her brothers were scarfing down like potato chips carrots.
Oh, I suppose I might as well try one.
What's the worst that could happen?
I think this is how you do it...
Aw, geez. Thanks for warning me about the seeds, you knuckleheads.
Not bad. A little on the dry side, yet palatable. The fiber is probably good for me.
I think I'll have another.
I hope you're not laughing at my expense.
Not laughing, sweet Lucy ... smiling, though. Love the photo with the seeds!!

Maybe, Lucy. Afterall, George and Alan shouldn't get all the laughs!
ReplyDeleteThat photo of you gingerly taking the pod is a winner.
I wonder what your Mom is doing that's different lately; her photos just won't stop getting better!
I Love Lucy's ears in the first picture. Then the seeds flying. This is an adorable set of photos! Thank you again for sharing with us. The color of the sky made a lovely background too. :)

ReplyDeleteThe story's conclusion is a great one. You have such a super way of always giving away a happy feeling with the photos and storytelling of the adventures of your sweet animals. The seed shot is priceless...Ry was belly laughing. Thanks
ReplyDeleteGenius shot with the flying seeds!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Love the spot under her neck where the two hair directions come together and form that little ridge. Just want to run my finger lightly along it...
