The novelty of these wide open, tree-free spaces is not wearing off yet, so please bear with me.
I can't help myself from shooting the new views.
I tried to take some before-and-after-the-Hydro-Ax shots, but I was driving myself nuts
trying to line up trees and focal lengths and latitudes and altitudes.
Screw it, I said. I'll just take a few pretty pictures.
Aaaaah, the pictures are awesome, as usual!
ReplyDeleteI like Pretty Pictures, and these are Really Pretty Pictures. I can just about smell Smooch's neck fur.
ReplyDeleteWho is happier--them or you?
ReplyDeleteNow those sneaky pronghorn will not be able to sneak up on the boys and Lucy. How many acres do you have, Linda?
ReplyDeletePretty pictures indeed. This is such a great thing for you to have had the opportunity to have done. Great for you and the herd. Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished - beautiful shots. What an amazing difference. We can't wait to see the new vistas!
ReplyDeleteI felt that way when we had our pasture cleared of the same cedars/junipers. Suddenly we had so much more land!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful on an already hectic Tuesday morning. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the one of Hank frolicking!
ReplyDeleteHank certainly looks happy with the view and the additional room to run.
ReplyDeleteYour views are stunning, Linda. Enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be so pleased. I'd be out there too, with a big grin on my face. Love the light in these pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou truly live in an awesome part of the world! Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteVERY pretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of getting pictures of the doin's at the 7MSN so fire away! I can see a lot of trees around though -- are those off your property? And what's your plan about the cholla? Not that I'm nosy or anything!!! The open space is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteokay, I still want a before picture comparison. You know I'm your demanding fan.
ReplyDeleteSo how did they decide which trees to leave? is there a # per acre? Cuz it looks like there are still several and I don't quite understand the logic.
And does Lucy have a grass belly or are you just using one of those cameras that make one look fat?
I hate those cameras. :)
Definitely pretty pictures! And beautiful kids!!!
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
come on, tell the truth, did you stage that last photo? I feel pretty sure that you posed each one and that they stayed that way for you b/c they are so obedient :)
ReplyDeletegreat shots as always, and as long as you aren't tired of taking pictures, we aren't tired of looking at them; b/c frankly the view out my suburban window ain't much to look at!
