Naptime is a contagious, group activity

Every day at 11:30, I take a short break from my paying job to go outside
and spend a few precious moments with my herd.

My break time often coincides with Wynonna's nap time,

She's such a powerful influence on us all.

When she relaxes, we all want to relax.

Were it not for the demands awaiting me back in my office,
I'd be tempted to take a nap myself,

but somebody stole my chair.

  1. Hey, Carson...I saw a dog who reminded me of Smooch...I'll post it on my blog today! She was running up and down the fence like Smooch, too!

    I'm getting tired just reading and looking at the pictures.....all is peaceful (for now). Have a good day and give hugs to all your critters for me.

  5. I could go for a nap myself if I weren't in the middle of getting lint out of my dryer. ( OMG ) Cute pic of everyone in and around the chair.

  7. The only Wynonna that I have heard about was Wynonna Judd. I can't say they are a look alike though. :-}

  9. Hey Linda... when I went to put some clothes in the dryer yesterday... I noticed that my dryer was like yours. So...out with three screws and then I used my vacuum attachment to clean things out. Thanks for inspiring me! Lisa in TN

  11. Wow.... you really got left out of nap time, didn't you? I say snuggle up there to the kitty who's in your sofa spot and enjoy a few winks.

  12. At first I focused on the kitties and Smooch, then I glanced at the window--Lucy and Wynonna too! Makes me want to take a nap too!

  13. That's sweet that Lucy was snuggling up as close as she could to Wynonna. I loved the cats, too. Have you seen the 25 awkwardest cat positions? http://www.buzzfeed.com/paws/awkward-cat-sleeping-positions

    Burros and donkeys can get in some pretty interesting positions, too!

  15. Wynonna's a smart gal. She knows how to relax and soak up the rays, we could all learn a thing or two from her.
