Shorty must have muscles on his muscles to be able to do that work all day long. I bet he has some stories he could tell about some of his equine clients!

Every time my blacksmith would come, I'd get sympathy pains in my lower back for him. I don't have any idea how they do it day after day. Fun music! Thanks for the smiles.
I agree--it's not something 4H would recommend, being on the ground underneath a critter. My girls are getting mature enough to let me do the kneeling thing, too, though I don't have quite as good a method as Shorty. Guess that's 'cause I only do it every 6-8 weeks...
OMG. I need a pedicure so badly! And I'm not as patient or as easy to trim as all your wonderful animals -- my feet tickle. Bless Shorty for all his work.
Ahhh, a good farrier, worth his weight in gold. I have had so much trouble finding a good and reliable farrier around here that I have been doing my own trimming. I sure could use someone like Shorty to give me some pointers on trimming donkey feet. They are definitely a bit different.
I don't know why, but every time I see their hooves up on the spike/holder, I have to giggle. I think it is because it reminds me of years of ballet classes.
They all are SO good, standing there so patiently! Looks like Shorty keeps moving along and gets his work done quickly.
